In honor of Celebrating Fathers, on June 16th, 2018 Seeds of a Father is grateful to be partneringwith Robert Hewes, Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A in Chicopee, Massachusetts to bring to you“Celebrating Fatherhood” at Chick-fil-A. We would like to take the time to celebrate fathers, bonusfathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles or any important male figure or role model.
We desire to acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of
fathers and male figures who have demonstrated love and who have made great differences in the lives of their children and others. We will highlight the critical importance of father engagement and encourage active participation of father involvement in the lives of their children through literacy development and active play. We will have a special guest, "Messy Mattie" coming byway of New Jersey; she is a young entrepreneur with a business of producing slime. Participants will have the opportunity to make slime, be given books, enter a book raffle, engage in a paper craft activity and be encouraged to take part in "Back 2 Basics". Back to Basics is our intervention that works to build positive father/ family active engagement.
Earlier this week I was honored to be interviewed by WTCC 90.7 radio personality, "Primetime Curt-Tee" in efforts to encourage fathers, families and communities to attend the event. We will also be on WWLP Mass Appeal Friday, June 15th as we continue to encourage others to Celebrate Fatherhood this Father's Day Weekend.
